the Chocolate Fashion Show

One of the favorite events from the Chocolate Extravaganza was the chocolate fashion show, Fashion Meets Confection. This show teams up students of the University of Minnesota College of Design with Le Courdon Bleu, to help them create edible fashions! Lucy Dunne from the University of Minnesota explains, "Our students have designed chocolate-inspired runway garments using non-traditional materials. The designers then collaborate with chocolate partners to develop embellishments, accessories, and other extras to complete each look. Some go more elaborate than others - it depends on the design and the intention of the designer, as well as the ambition and creativity of the chocolatier." Fashion Meets Confection will be on the Lifestyle Stage at the Expo, at 2pm and 4pm each day.
