Summer's goat's milk ice cream, made with Minnesota family farm-raised cream, eggs and honey, as well as her hot Indian-spiced (cardamom) mini doughnuts, are many metro-area residents' breakfasts. The Chef Shack is at the Mill City Farmers Market and Kingfield Farmers Market, and is available for private events.
Brunch, to me, means juice-y cocktails and coffee. The balance of the two makes for a clear conscience...especially when its a dark, steaming cup of Morning Star Coffee. This full-service coffee company, supplying fine coffee and brewing equipment, is Kosher, fair-trade, shade-grown, certified-organic coffee, locally roasted, and available at Kowalski's and many, many cafes and restaurants in the Midwest.
