Brunch Love
You had me at 'Oat Bran French Toast with Caramelized Cinnamon Bananas'. Everyone loves breakfast foods, and Lancer Catering caters amazing off-site breakfast buffets for 25 guests or more. The menus offer perfect elegance for bridal and baby showers, enhanced by the full-service professional beverage service which is also available.
Though fancy can be fun, brunch needn't always be served from a sterling silver chafing dish - how about a red and white painted gourmet-serving trailer?! Chefs Lisa Carlson and Carrie Summer of The Chef Shack offer paramount ingredients, local flare and over 20 years of gourmet 'big-time' chef experience. Summer's goat's milk ice cream, made with Minnesota family farm-raised cream, eggs and honey, as well as her hot Indian-spiced (cardamom) mini doughnuts, are many metro-area residents' breakfasts. The Chef Shack is at the Mill City Farmers Market and Kingfield Farmers Market, and is available for private events.
Brunch, to me, means juice-y cocktails and coffee. The balance of the two makes for a clear conscience...especially when its a dark, steaming cup of Morning Star Coffee. This full-service coffee company, supplying fine coffee and brewing equipment, is Kosher, fair-trade, shade-grown, certified-organic coffee, locally roasted, and available at Kowalski's and many, many cafes and restaurants in the Midwest. Owner Jose Vido has worked to be sensitive to the environment and growers since 1996, while staying passionate and meeting his clients needs for amazing coffee blends.
What's the perfect compliment to said coffee? Lindalicious Biscotti, a new business featuring an old favorite. Biscotti is a twice baked cookie that resembles small slices of toasted bread, and is perfect for dipping. Lindalicious also offers gift baskets - a delicious thank-you or brunch hostess gift. These treats are enjoyable any time of day, and are available at www.lindaliciousbiscotti.com and So What's New @ The Chocolate Spoon, located in White Bear Lake.
